Our recipe is on the lighter side this month with a delicious Caramelized Almond and Cabbage Salad you’re sure to love. The great part about eating a plant based diet is that you really can eat a lot! There is only 1 calorie per gram in starches, 4 calories per gram in sugar and 9 calories per gram in fat. If you want to eat a lot, go for the starches. Just make sure the starches are vegan and oil free to keep that calorie count low and health high.
