07 Dec Arm Balance Tip to Help Your Dragonfly Take Flight

The biggest challenge in this pose is to get your foot high up your arm. Before trying this one, make sure to practice some twists and outer hip openers such as Figure 4 Balance, Pigeon, and/or Firelog.
From Tip-Toe Balance w/a Twist, practice bringing the sole of your foot high onto your upper arm–the higher the better. If you bring your foot high enough, you will have the space to rest your knee ABOVE your elbow which makes this pose a lot more accessible.
