Ever fall asleep ruminating about what you forgot to do, where you fell short or what you didn’t get done in your hectic day? Yeah, me too.
This I know: Whatever you focus on, you create.
Not only will your harried night reflections set you up for focusing on the negative when you wake up, but your ability to fall asleep quickly and sleep soundly are also at risk.
So try this: Each night before bed, consider the things you did RIGHT. The things you got done whether big or small. What can you celebrate or recognize about your day?
Start tonight! Instead of feeling unresolved or inadequate, choose to go to bed with a sense of accomplishment, gratification and fulfillment. End each night with what you did right!
