Turn Doubt Around

Turn Doubt Around

We humans suffer from obsessive thinking, and tend to be self-centered.
For example, let’s say you’re at a party and you say something to someone – walk away, and think “OMG I said the dumbest thing! What if everyone thinks I’m an idiot? I can’t believe I said that!” You might think about it all night or even for the next couple of days. (The funny thing is that no one is probably thinking about you, because they are too busy thinking about themselves too!) We’ve got to stop these runaway thoughts, though. Worry can run our brain, absolutely demolishing our quality of life.

The computer of our mind responds to two things, the pictures we create, and the words we say in our heads. Our brain’s job is to come up with answers. Some of the worst questions are “what if”, because they bring us into a state of doubt.  “What if I fail?”, “What if I suck?”
If we give our mind negative questions it will give us negative answers.

And guess what?

We manifest what we focus on the most.

Turn doubt around and give your brain a couple of different questions:

“What can I learn from this?” “How can I grow?”

and your brain will come up with better answers.

The way to eradicate doubt is to switch your pictures around. “I’m good at this.” “I can do this.”  “I’m brilliant at this.”

With practice, you CAN control how you react to things and even choose how you perceive them. Become the pilot of your brain rather than being the passenger who keeps getting their elbow banged by old baggage dragged down the walkway. Practice finding the highest thought over and over again until it becomes a new habit for you. Do this and you’ll find your life will drastically change for the better.

Happy growing!
