04 Feb Want a Pose That Will Melt Your Heart?
This month is all about the heart, and what better way to open the heart than with this expansive chest opener, Anahatasana, otherwise known as Heart Melting Pose. Here’s how:
Begin in table top position. Keep your hips over your knees as you walk your arms out in front of you until your spine is totally lengthened and your arms are stretched way out in front of you, shoulders width apart. Arch your sitting bones upwards as if you were doing cow pose. Either forehead to the floor, or for an added throat stretch, bring chin to the floor. To deepen, keep your forearms parallel, and lift your elbows.
