to be a better version of yourself, to let go

for health, for wellness, for self care

to push, to rest, to stretch, to heal

for lean legs, strong abs and stronger arms

for alignment, for mastery, for restoration

for crow, dog, pigeon or frog

for calm of mind, for quiet, for savasana

for the challenge, for the accomplishment, for the thrill of the pose

for your future self, for who you currently are, for who you want to be

to be a warrior, not a worrier

for lovingkindness…for yourself, for all beings

because the mat feels like home, because things make sense there

why do you yoga?
